Following the transfer of the spermatophore from the male (right) jellyfish to the female (left) jellyfish, the female Carybdea sivickisi  jellyfish uses her tentacles to insert the sperm bundle into the manubrium (oral tube) inside her bell. Note that the female uses three tentacles to ingest the spermatophore, while the male holds onto her fourth tentacle until the bundle is fully inserted. Image courtesy: Alvaro Migotto.
