Geographic Distribution: Eleuthera Island, Bahama Islands.

Type Locality: Living just north of the Current Settlement [Eleuthera, Bahamas]

Type Material: Lectotype, MCZ 117738

There are 49 paralectotypes, including MCZ 356993 (8 specimens).

Remarks

Clench (1952:111) lists this taxon in the synonymy of Cerion laeve Plate, 1907, citing it as a nomen nudum.
