Geographic Distribution: Berry Islands, Bahama Islands.

Type Locality: Chub Point Key, Berry Islands, Bahamas [25° 24' N, 77° 53' W]

Type Material: Lectotype, MCZ 76371

There are 1,499 paralectotypes, including  MCZ 76372, MCZ 118119, and USNM 420004 (100 specimens).
