Southern end of North Bimini Cay, Bahamas. May 1912. Collected on the extreme southern end of the cay on young sisal plants.
The specimen illustrated on plate 4, figure 10 was designated as Lectotype(Harasewych and Strauss, 2006). The specimen illustrated in figure 9, and the remainder of the 200 specimens mentioned in the original description, all from the type locality, became paralectotypes. Among these are 11 paralectotypes at MCZ 076162.
Remarks
Wurtz (1950:96) reported this taxon from North Cat Cay, Bahamas.
Clench (1942:62) reported records from North and South Bimini Islands.
