Remarks

new name for Cerion paucicostatum Clench, 1934, non Cerion paucicostatum Pilsbry, 1929.

Boyko & Rosenberg (1999:46-47) discuss the attribution of Cerion paucicostatum  to Pilsbry rather than de la Torre, as had been cited (eg. Clench, 1952:108, 1957:157), and provide data on type specimens and the type locality.
