Geographic Distribution: Berry Islands, Bahama Islands.

Type Locality: Bonds Key, [Berry Islands, Bahamas] [25° 29' N, 77° 43' W]

Type Material: Lectotype, MCZ 76175

There are 1,004 paralectotypes, including MCZ 76174, MCZ 118215, and USNM 420115 (100 specimens).

Remarks

Maynard (1921a:130) reported that this taxon was common on palms.
