Geographic Distribution: Exuma Group of Islands, Bahama Islands.

Type Locality: Wax Key, [Great Exuma Island, Exuma Cays, Bahamas]

There are 599 paralectotypes, including MCZ 76214, MCZ 118243 and USNM 1093792.

Type Material: Lectotype, USNM 420093

Remarks

Maynard (1926:213-218) provided additional data on shell morphology and anatomy.
