Remarks
This taxon was reported from living specimens, which were abundant, and from fossils in the limestone, which were rare. Maynard (1921b:141; 1924a: pl. 38, figs. 3, 4) subsequently provided descriptive notes and illustrations of this taxon. Clench (1952:109) listed this taxon as a valid species, and included S. praedivina Maynard, 1913, S. praedivinauniversa Maynard, 1913, S. multia Maynard, 1913, and S. angustocostata Maynard and Clapp, 1921 to be its synonyms.
