Type Locality: Cayo Romano, 22˚ 24' N.; 78˚ 6' W, Cuba [22° 24' N, 78° 6' W]

Type Material: Holotype, collection of Sánchez Roig no number published.


This taxon was proposed as a new name for Cerion mumia gigantea Sánchez Roig, 1951, non Strophia grayi gigantea Maynard, 1894.
