Geographic Distribution: Long Island, Bahama Islands.

Type Locality: 3½ mi. SE. of Simms, Long Id., Bahamas

3½ miles SE of Simms, Long Island, Bahamas.  [July, 1936]

Remarks

Clench (1937) notes parallelism with C. dimidiatum Pfr. and G. proteus Pfr. of Gibara, Cuba.  He notes relationship to the C. regina group of lower Bahamas, through C. fernandina, which he considered intermediate between C. malonei and C. regina.
