Type Locality: About a church on the road to Fox Hill from East Bay St., Nassau, New Providence Island, Bahamas

Type Material: Lectotype, MCZ 76111

There are 3 paralectotypes.

Remarks

Gould and Woodruff (1986:477) considered this taxon to be a synonym of  Cerion gubernatorium (Crosse, 1869).
