Carnegie Museum 7690 contains the specimen illustrated as Cerion n.sp. by Richards (1935: 257, fig. 27), who noted that this species was to be described in a manuscript by Bermudez.
Remarks
The name is derived from the label accompanying the specimen at the Carnegie Museum (CM 7690), where it is cited as Cerion claudei Bermudez, but without a date.
