Geographic Distribution: Exuma Group of Islands, Bahama Islands.

Type Locality: Near well on west coast of Ship Channel Key, [Exuma Group, Bahamas].

Type Material: Lectotype, MCZ 76043

There are 399 paralectotypes,  including MCZ 76044.

Remarks

This binomen is a junior secondary homonym of  Cerion (Maynardia) columna var. valida Pilsbry and Vanatta, 1895.
