Geographic Distribution: New Providence and Adjacent Islands, Bahama Islands.

Type Locality: Field east of Methodist Church on Sherley Street, Nassau [New Providence Island, Bahamas]

Type Material: Lectotype, MCZ 76006

There are 384  paralectotypes, including MCZ 76007,  MCZ 356679, and USNM 420089 (50 specimens).

Remarks

Gould and Woodruff (1986:476) regarded this taxon to be "intermediate" between Cerion glans and C. gubernatorium.
