Geographic Distribution: Berry Islands, Bahama Islands.

Type Locality: west side of Cabbage Key, [Berry Islands], Bahamas. [25° 34' N, 77° 43' W]

Type Material: Lectotype, MCZ 76023

There are 9 paralectotypes, including MCZ 76402 (1 specimen).

Remarks

Fossil, embedded in rock. The length measurement provided, 2.25 inches is likely a typographical error.  The illustrated lectotype corresponds to a measurement of 1.25 inches.
