Type Locality: Fossil in cliff at north end of Goat Key, Great Harbor; [Berry Islands, Bahamas] [25° 45' N, 77° 50' W]

Type Material: Lectotype, MCZ 76145

There are 114 aralectotypes, including MCZ 357009 (1 specimen).
