Geographic Distribution: Matanzas Province, Cuba.

Type Locality: sand in sea cave near road to Ermita de Monserrat, Matanzas, Cuba. Elevation 350 feet.

Type Material: Holotype, Carnegie Museum Invertebrate Paleontology 7689

Remarks

Pleistocene.  In the original description, Richards (1935:237) sites the incorrect illustration (fig. 25) rather than figure 24, which illustrates the only known specimen.
