Geographic Distribution: Bimini Islands, Bahama Islands.

Type Locality: Gun Cay, Bimini Islands, Bahamas [25° 35' N, 79° 18.2' W]

Type Material: Lectotype, USNM 127460

The specimen illustrated by Dall (1905:plate 58, figure 13) was designated as the lectotype (Harasewych and Strauss, 2006:99, fig. 20).  

Remarks

This taxon is C. pillsburyi Pilsbry & Vanatta, 1897, according to Clench 1942.
