Type Locality: Great Harbor Key, Berry Islands, Bahamas. [25° 44.53' N, 77° 50.52' W]

Type Material: Lectotype, MCZ 076255

Remarks

Maynard   (p.128)  included this taxon in the "C. Proavita Group"  He noted that they are "Cylindroconic, costate, with costae extending into the shell"
