Geographic Distribution: Oriente Province, Cuba.

Type Locality: Cuba [21° 6.9' N, 76° 7.9' W]

Maynard (1896:34) commented that "Although these specimens were simply labeled 'Cuba,' I have no doubt but what they came from the neighborhood of Gibara, Cuba.
