Remarks
Clench (1934:217) reported that specimens collected on Sheep Cay, western Gt. Inagua (about 15 miles N. N. E. of Matthew Town) are not quite typical according to Maynard's description and comparison made with Maynard's types. They are not as finely ribbed, though they approximate each other in size and general outline. Specimens from N. W. Point (Gt. Inagua) occur in which the ribs vary from fine to rather coarse on certain individuals, though elsewhere the colonies of this form are uniform in this character.
