Geographic Distribution: Andros Island, Bahama Islands.

Type Locality: West of Morgan's Bluff, Staniard Creek, Andros, Bahamas.

Clench (1957:140) lists the type locality as one mile west of Morgan's Bluff.

Type Material: Lectotype, MCZ 76299

There are 265 paralectotypes, including MCZ 76300.
