"21. S. tenucostata.

Costae finer, thinner, 37; darker with darker mottlings, and dark brown within. South Beach of Sampson's Key; not very common on palms, 112. Plate 4. figs. 3 [sic actually 8], 9." (Maynard and Clapp in Maynard, 1920d:121)
