Original Description

"166c. S. PYGMEA.

Tiny. the smallest fossil Cerion known to me (.50 by .25); conic; costae few. very irregular, thin, and low, margin thin (.03), frontal bar incomplete, lower tooth rather long (.05) and set back once its length, upper tooth present and set low. One only found with the two forego­ing species." (Maynard, 1926:4-5)
