"Cerion mossi (1) new name
Cerion paucicostatum Clench, 1934, Proc. Boston Soc. Nat. Hist. 40, p. 209, pl. 2, fig. E (Miller's Hill, Eleuthera); non C. paucicostatum Torre, 1929, Nautilus 42, pl. 4, figs. 8-9 (Cabo Maisi, Cuba).
Remarks. - I inadvertently overlooked a prior use of the name paucicostatum by de la Torre. It was figured in the Nautilus but neither described nor included in the index.
Records. - John Millers; Millers Hill; Page Creek; Wemyss Bight.
(1) Named for Mr. Claud Moss of Governor's Harbor with whom I had the pleasure of staying during my three weeks on this island" (Clench, 1952:108)
