Original Description

"7. S. intentata.

Small, .75 by 30; costae, 21; lower tooth, small; up­per, absent or very small.  Rather common in a small area east or tract 5, Map 1, 7. 256, all dead, some very old. Plate 2, figs. 6 7." (Maynard and Clapp in Maynard, 1920d:118).
