Strophiops argentia Maynard, 1913
S. argentia new. Smaller, 1.20 by .45, costa finer and more regular. Color a peculidull, reddish gray, pale fleshy within. 400. Living on the three Silver Keys. Silver Key, the most western of the group, is remarkable as having been the home of three, quite closely allied and evidently successive species of Strophias, representatives of three distinct geologic periods.
